Having grown up in Silicon Valley, David has been in the presence of white collar workers (particularly engineers and tech executives) his whole life. At the end of high school, he developed a passion for weightlifting; however, during college and his first few years in New York (working in an unrelated field) exercise was set aside. During the COVID-19 shutdown, he picked up where he left off in fitness (also delving into martial arts training). Upon an influx of inquiries, he became certified and began specializing in busy professionals.
It's never too late to start! Unwanted pounds can be dropped at any age. Sarcopenia typically doesn't begin decreasing muscle until after the age of 40, and strength training slows down the rate of curtailing.
No matter one's profession, the classic "I don't have time" excuse is factually incorrect. Regarding the amount of hours in a day, quality is more important than quality. One hour of work while focused can be more productive than several hours of work while unfocused. Starting the day with a workout plants the seeds for one's concentration to be on point all day, and a well-planned nutrition regiment reinforces this, multiplying productivity.
Many people spend countless hours per year at the gym and their body stays the same. This is because they're guessing exercise programming and doing random exercises. David's understanding of exercise science and personal experience implementing it will yield the utmost results for every minute spent working out.
The cliché "learn to fight so you don't have to fight" is absolutely true. It's only human to have pent-up rage, which martial arts offer a healthy outlet to release that tension. People who know they have the ability to emerge victorious in physical altercations have nothing to prove, therefore martial artists (most of the time) are the most clear-headed and rational people you'll ever meet. People have a need to control others when they lack control over themselves; the discipline and self-control attained through training combat sports is the most effective remedy. Not to mention it ties in with fitness as a vigorous cardio workout!
Though genetics play a factor, the majority of one's appearance is defined by the decisions they make. David himself didn't become a solid 10 until his mid-20s (in fact—he looked older in his younger 20s than his late 20s)! Skin can be vitalized with cleanser, toner, moisturizer, eye cream, and sunscreen. Aging can be curtailed via facials, chemical peels, microneedling, and botox. Freckles, moles, and skin tags can all be removed. Facial shape/features can be amended through filler or surgery. Hair can be cut, shaped, styled, dyed, thickened, restored, and transplanted. Facial and body hair can be taken care of with trimming, shaving, waxing, laser hair removal, and electrolysis. While the gym provides a more expansive facility for exercise, there are endless options with little to no equipment right in your own home!
